Various projects you may work on:

<ul><li>Reviewing and updating our Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual by coordination with the Team Managers</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assisting with the review, analysis, and reconciliation of General ledger accounts to provide timely month-end, quarter-end, and potentially year-end financial statements to include such accounts as:</li></ul>
<div><ul><li>Cash</li></ul>
<ul><li>Accounts Payables</li></ul>
<ul><li>Accounts Receivables and Deferred Revenues</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepaid Expenses</li></ul>
<ul><li>Fixed Assets</li></ul>
<ul><li>Office Leases</li></ul>
</div><ul><li>Preparing, reviewing, and documenting training procedures, presentations, and policies for internal IACP staff to assist with financial transparency within the organization</li></ul>
<ul><li>Additional tasks or projects as needed.</li></ul>

Education/Areas of Study:
Accounting or Finance
Qualifications &amp; Eligibility:
<ul><li>Applicant must be a college student, a graduate student, or a recent graduate within the past six months</li>
<li>Self-starter who is organized and able to work independently</li>
<li>Minimum 2.7 grade point average</li>
<li>Excellent computer skills</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience and capabilities</li>
<li>A strong detail-oriented mindset</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Ability to communicate and present oneself professionally</li>
<li>Knowledge of or interest in the law enforcement profession is a plus</li>
</ul>
Work Environment:
The IACP offers a focused, team-oriented, learning environment grounded in open communications, professional development and shared context. Primarily office environment, although light lifting, bending and reaching may be required.
