Overview: The Loan Operations Administrator provides administrative and operational support for the day-to-day loan transaction processes, including data entry, tracking, and verification.The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, thorough and able to work independently while providing high-touch administrative support to both our lenders and clients. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to develop a comprehensive understanding of our client service policies, cross-train for land trust duties, and know when to escalate issues to management for immediate resolution.Accountabilities &ndash; Loan Operations:<ul><li>Oversee and coordinate the booking of new loans, process paid-off loans, loan modifications, and loan maintenance in our core system (Jack Henry).</li><li>Accurately prepares loan payoff statements and processes received payoff funds.</li><li>Accurately enters documented changes from the lending team and clients into the core system.</li><li>Assists lending team and clients with questions regarding payments, disbursements, payoffs, modifications, and general ledger reconciliations.</li><li>Prepares quarterly CRE Reports and balances for CRE Analysis.</li><li>Prepares annual Escrow Analysis to determine if there is a shortage or overage, process statements and checks, and follows up with the lending team on miscellaneous items.</li><li>Monthly review and verification of ACH report in the core system. Other reports include Non-Accrual and Watch List Reports.</li></ul><ul><li>Processes check requests for new loans, loan payoffs, drawdowns, escrow refunds, and annual insurance and property tax payments.</li><li>Frequently collaborates with an insurance agent on insurance cancellation, contacts lender and updates department&rsquo;s tickler system.</li><li>Coordinates force-placed insurance with the insurance agent, notifies the lender, and prepares documentation on force-placed insurance.</li><li>Collaborate with other teams to complete the annual review of collateral inventory.</li><li>Provide outstanding client relations and communication in resolving inquiries and coordinating with the bank&rsquo;s lending team.</li><li>Ensures compliance with federal, state and SBA regulations.</li><li>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred with previous banking or loan operation experience.</li><li>Three years in banking within a loan operations and trust administration environment is preferred.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate will be expected to communicate with all levels within the organization and with our clients.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills to maintain workflow volume.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.</li><li>Organized, detailed-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, solid banking software skills, and an aptitude for learning bank systems (JHA Xperience Production, etc.).</li></ul>GENERAL NOTICE The bank has reviewed this job description to ensure the essential functions and basic duties are current.
