 International Community Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced
 
 HSE / Transport Officer
 
 to oversee the school&rsquo;s Health, Safety &amp; Environment practices and manage student transportation across our branches in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, promote a safe learning environment, and coordinate all aspects of school transportation effectively.
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and best practices across the school premises.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety drills to ensure a safe school environment.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Department of Education &amp; Knowledge (ADEK), Civil Defense, and other local regulatory requirements.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Provide training and awareness sessions for staff and students on safety, health, and emergency protocols.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Manage and coordinate daily school transport operations, including student pick-up/drop-off and route planning.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure compliance with transport safety standards, vehicle maintenance, and driver performance monitoring.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Maintain accurate HSE and transport records, reports, and documentation.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Collaborate with school leadership and administrative teams to address safety and transport-related concerns promptly.

 </ul>
 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 Job Requirements:
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Minimum
 
 2 years of experience
 
 in
 
 HSE and Transport Management within a school setting
 
 .
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Strong knowledge of UAE school safety regulations, transport compliance, and best practices.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field (preferred).
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Relevant HSE certification (NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Excellent communication and organizational skills.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Must be available to
