 qualified and experienced IT Officer (school experience mandatory)
 
 to oversee and support the school&rsquo;s IT infrastructure and daily technology operations.
 
 
 
 The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
 
 Google Admin Console and Microsoft 365 administration
 
 , as well as hands-on experience in
 
 Network &amp; Infrastructure Management
 
 , including configuration and management of firewalls, switches, VLANs, access points, and AVAYA systems. This role requires a proactive professional capable of supporting both academic and administrative technology needs efficiently and securely.

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 1. IT Infrastructure &amp; Network Management
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Manage and maintain the school&rsquo;s IT infrastructure including servers, firewalls, switches, VLANs, access points, and structured cabling.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Configure and monitor network security, performance, and uptime.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Manage and support AVAYA telephony systems.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure data security, backup systems, and disaster recovery processes are in place and functioning.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 2. Google Workspace &amp; Microsoft 365 Administration
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Administer Google Admin Console (user accounts, groups, security policies, device management).
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Manage Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, licensing, user provisioning).
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Maintain DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure smooth email and collaboration platform operations.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 3. Hardware &amp; Software Support
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, interactive boards, and other IT equipment.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Provide timely technical support to staff and administration.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 4. End-User &amp; Academic Support
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Provide day-to-day IT support to teaching and administrative staff.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Assist with classroom technology integration.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Support online learning platforms and digital tools.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Conduct basic IT orientation and training sessions for staff when required.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 5. Systems &amp; Applications
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Support ERP systems (experience with
 
 Orison ERP preferred
 
 ).
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Support school timetabling systems (experience with
 
 ASC Timetables &ndash; ASC TT preferred
 
 ).
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure all school applications run efficiently and securely.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 6. Reporting &amp; Documentation
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Maintain IT policies and procedures.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Prepare IT reports when required.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ensure compliance with ADEK regulations and school IT standards.

 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Mandatory prior experience in a school IT environment (UAE preferred).
 
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Strong hands-on experience in:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Google Admin Console
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Microsoft 365 Administration
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Firewall &amp; Network Management
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 VLAN configuration
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Wireless Access Points
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 AVAYA systems
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially
 
 Microsoft Excel (advanced level)

 </li>
 <li>
 
 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Excellent communication skills in English.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
