 JOB SUMMARY:
 
 The National Medical Doctor is responsible for overall patient care including promotion of the health and safety of patients by conducting a thorough triage, careful history taking, physical examination, essential laboratory/radiology investigations, diagnoses, treatment, and referral as well as education of patients and their care giver.

 Main Tasks And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide high quality clinical care to patients based on history, appropriate physical exam, available laboratory, imaging tests, and formulary for treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Based on the area of assignment, conduct daily rounds on patients, initiate case discussions, monitor and document patient progress with any changes in management and prognosis and ensure adequate handover in case physicians' responsibilities are assigned to an inpatient facility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise if further testing and/or advanced care is required and initiate the referral process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Initiate regular case discussions as part of hands-on training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify gaps in staff training and provide didactic and/or hands-on training as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advocate to supervisors for other necessary training of the staff working in the team as well as providing necessary training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize given data collection tools and provide training to other staff as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect and analyze medical service data to quality of care for the patients and services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure standard precautions of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) measures are always implemented and adhered to as per MoH and international standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 When applicable, participate in a 24-hour health service delivery system at the clinic/facility/hospital as per shift schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to international protocols and standards related to patient assessment, diagnostic and medical prescription of drugs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and supervise other clinical staff as directed by supervisor; participate in hiring process if needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide health education to patients and community members concerning their diagnoses, healthy diets, physical activity, hygiene promotion, and disease prevention (such as need for vaccination, smoking cessation, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to administrative directives with regards to work schedules, record keeping, patient communications, re-stocking of essential drugs, consumables, and other medical supplies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Always maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Immediately report any violation of IMC Code of Conduct, including patient safeguarding.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct outreach health services in case assigned by the supervisor.

 Minimum Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Typically, a medical degree (primary care physician) with a valid license to practice and be board certified or equivalent (board eligible).
 </li>
 <li>
 Typically, 2+ years of relevant clinical work, post graduate medical experience after graduating from medical college, work in low-resource settings preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in programs relating to primary health care, maternal and child health, reproductive health, communicable and non-communicable diseases as well as emergency/outbreak response preferable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous NGO experience preferable

 Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
 </li>

 Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
 </li>

 Job Summary
 
 
 
 The Nurse will work to contribute to an improvement in the overall health of the targeted population through the provision of quality health care (curative, preventive health care). This position is expected to triage patients, ensure smooth patient flow, provide clinical care, assist with referrals as needed and provide health education and hygiene promotion. In addition, the Nurse may also be requested to assist Health staff in another capacity as needed.

 Main Tasks And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide clinical nursing services according to internationally accepted standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist clinicians, midwives, laboratory, vaccination, and pharmacy in running of general duties as designated by the supervisor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage triage, taking vital signs and organize patients for consultation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct vaccination for children and pregnant women.
 </li>
 <li>
 Undertake dressing, suturing of deep wounds etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct nursing care of patients as per guidelines &amp; instructions of the physician if working in inpatient department and carry out tasks according to the protocols.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance to MoH/WHO guidelines of rational drug use.
 </li>
 <li>
 In collaboration with the supervisor provide treatment as per MOH/WHO treatment guidelines and protocols.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that patients are accurately registered and recorded for reporting and case management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper data management through completion of appropriate patient cards, registers, tally sheets, and reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support conducting laboratory and other available and accessible investigations for patients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide health education and hygiene promotion to patients based on their diagnoses and co-morbidities such as diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention (such as need for vaccination, suggest lifestyle changes etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend physical examination of sexual and reproductive health patients especially for a male health care provider whenever requested.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure relevant patients including children under 5 are screened for malnutrition or provide malnutrition services if trained and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with supervisor to provide both didactic and on-the-job training to build capacity and enhance skills of other staff such as CHWs and nurse assistants.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure smooth implementation and integration of services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to administrative directives with regards to work schedules, record keeping, patient communications, confidentiality, re-stocking of essential drugs, consumables, and other medical supplies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out assigned additional duties including triage, IPC, child protection focal point, dispensing, and/or data management as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with the setup, maintenance and mobilization of the clinical spaces as required.
 </li>
 <li>

 Qualified and registered nurse from government recognized nursing Institute with a valid license to practice or a similar required qualification in the country for the position.

 </li>
