Schedule: </b>Monday - Friday w/varying shift start times (8-hour shifts); rotating Saturday shifts</div><br>

<div><b>In this role, you will be responsible for:</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.</li>
<li>Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening.</li>
<li>Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.</li>
<li>Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.</li>
<li>Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.</li>
<li>Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Education &amp; Certification:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>Washington Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification (MA-P) is required</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Previous on-the-job phlebotomy experience is preferred</li>
<li>A consistent work history and reliability are valued and strongly preferred</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Skills &amp; Competencies:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients and team members</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds.</li>
<li>High level of staff interaction in close quarters; must hear alarms to ensure timely response to safety needs.</li>
<li>Regular handling of potentially infectious samples, with required protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield).</li>
<li>Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day.</li>
<li>Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed.</li>
</ul>
<div><b>OSHA Category:</b> This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues, with Hepatitis-B vaccination offered to all performing these duties.</div><br>

Phlebotomist/Processor

<div><div>We are looking for a friendly and customer-service-oriented Courier with a clean driving record to enhance our team.</div><br>
<div></div>
<div><b>
Pay: </b>Starts at $17.00 per hour, with rate negotiable based on experience</div><br>
<div></div>
<div><b>
Schedule/Route:</b></div>
<ul>
<li>PRN (as-needed) courier role covering all shifts</li>
<li>Hours vary and primarily cover staff call-outs, PTO, and some scheduled shifts</li>
<li>Flexibility for <b>last-minute assignments</b> is essential</li>
<li>Coverage areas: <b>Ontario, Boise, Twin Falls, and Eastern Idaho routes</b></li>
</ul>

<li>Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and perform maintenance on company vehicles and transport devices.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.</li>
<li>Document operations and complete necessary reports.</li>
<li>Assist with training and communication among couriers and relevant departments.</li>
</ul>

<li>Strong preference for candidates with previous driving/courier experience</li>

<p><b>General Physical Requirements:</b></p>

</li><li><div>Ability to enter and exit assigned vehicle. Able to sit in vehicle/drive for up to 4 hours nonstop.</div>
</li><li><div>Ability to load &amp; unload assigned vehicle, with frequent bending involved.</div>
</li><li><div>Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed.</div>
</li><li><div>Regularly handle potentially infectious samples.</div>
</li><li><div>Ability to drive assigned vehicle in all types of conditions, including built-up areas, freeway, and rural traffic, hours of darkness, and inclement weather.</div>
</li><li><div>May be exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens.</div>
</li><li><div>Occasional-to-regular kneeling, bending, stooping and twisting to perform vehicle inspections and minor operator maintenance, including changing tires.</div>
</li>
</ul><div><b>OHSA Category:</b> This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.</div><br>
