Job Title: ASL Tutor / Teacher of Deaf /Education specialist -ASLPosition Summary:We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and skilled tutor to provide academic and communication support for a child who is Deaf and autistic. The tutor will work one-on-one with the student to reinforce learning goals, build communication and social skills, and create a safe, engaging environment that supports the child&rsquo;s unique needs.Key Responsibilities:Provide individualized tutoring in core academic subjects at the child&rsquo;s level.Use American Sign Language (ASL), visual supports, and alternative communication methods as appropriate.Adapt learning strategies to support both Deaf and autism-related learning needs.Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to the family.Qualifications:Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).Experience working with children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing and/or autistic.Background in education, special education, speech/language development, or related field preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.Patience, creativity, and flexibility in adapting lessons to the child&rsquo;s needs.Work Schedule:After school hours, weekends, or flexible scheduleCompensation:$30-$60/hrJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $60.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
