Interstate Assembly Systems is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented First Shift Shipping &amp; Receiving / Warehouse Associate to support our Marshfield, Wisconsin operations. This role plays a critical part in supporting production through accurate material handling, inventory control, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Support the production schedule by printing, picking, and delivering materials and parts to production using our distribution system; ensure all picks are accurate.</li>
<li>Interface daily with project managers, engineering, and production staff to ensure order accuracy.</li>
<li>Process paperwork and perform data entry related to work orders and physical material movements in SX.</li>
<li>Follow warehousing policies and procedures, including material issues/receipts, storage, and location controls.</li>
<li>Check in inventory, put away stock orders, and maintain organized warehouse locations.</li>
<li>Maintain filing systems for SRO files in accordance with warehouse procedures.</li>
<li>Process all returns to stock inventory per established warehouse processes.</li>
<li>Assist with warehouse efficiencies, including part locations and process improvements.</li>
<li>Maintain warehouse metrics.</li>
<li>Support and participate in 5S Lean methodologies.</li>
<li>Serve as a backup for other warehouse positions as needed.</li>
<li>Perform end-of-day cleanup and maintain a clean, safe work environment.</li>
<li>Adhere to all Interstate Companies safety procedures and policies.</li>
<li>Assist with general shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Experience &amp; Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li>
<li>Experience working in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with Lean methodologies preferred.</li>
<li>Proficient with material handling equipment, including forklifts and reach lifts.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.</li>
<li>Ability to routinely lift 25&ndash;50 lbs.; occasional lifting of over 50 lbs. required.</li>
