Title: Sobriety Services Technician II
 This is an entry level Criminal Justice position
 
OVERVIEW
 
This entry-level Criminal Justice position provides drug and alcohol sobriety monitoring of court-ordered offenders and other clients.
 
<ul>
<li>Support, promote and adhere to the mission, values and Code of Conduct of Intervention Inc.</li>
<li>Reflect Intervention Inc.s’ commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect.</li>
<li>Sign in clients and escort them to and from collection area.</li>
<li>Visually monitor Urinalysis testing of same sex clients.</li>
<li>Monitor testing of clients through breathalyzer, oral swabs, and SleepTime.</li>
<li>Complete and submit all documentation/paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion.</li>
<li>Accept testing fees, issue receipt to clients and secure payment in office safe.</li>
<li>Communicate and interact professionally with all referral sources, staff and clients.</li>
</ul>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
 
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Must have some customer service experience.</li>
<li>Because this position requires direct observation of males submitting specimens for urinalysis, being male has been determined to be a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification and only males will be considered for the position</li>
</ul>
SKILLS
 
<ul>
<li>Exceptional organizational and customer service skills.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills to enter data, generate reports and create communications from variety of software programs and databases.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.</li>
<li>Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.</li>
<li>Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, stakeholders, and with diverse client base.</li>
<li>Must have ability to access to state criminal databases.</li>
<li>Ability to move about the office frequently</li>

OVERVIEW
 Assists in day-to-day operations of Security office. Guides clients toward pro-social behavior and protects the safety of the staff, clients and community at large through monitoring and enforcing policies, rules and regulations with residential, non-residential and out client services clients.
 
Title: Community Corrections Team Lead
 Location: Pueblo, CO
 Starting Pay: $20.60 - $23.69/hr (based on shift differential)
 Hours: Full Time - Graveyard Shift - 11pm-730am

JOB DUTIES
 
•
 Support, promote and adhere to the mission, values and Code of Conduct of Intervention Inc.
 
•
 Reflect Intervention Inc.s' commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect.
 
•
 Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
 
•
 Carry out all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, applicable laws and contractual obligations.
 
•
 Complete and meet all responsibilities and expectations of Community Corrections Specialist
 
•
 Serve as resource to other staff regarding procedures and standards
 
•
 Act as change agent in the implementation of new practices, including modeling desired behavior and training and coaching staff.
 
•
 Assist in the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and supervision of assigned program/office.
 
•
 Train staff as needed on variety of topic areas
 
•
 Provide direction and guidance to other staff on routine and non-routine assignments, monitor compliance with policies, procedures and standards.
 
•
 Assist management in hiring process as required
 
•
 Provide timely and accurate input and feedback to manager on performance of staff, address issues as appropriate
 
•
 Assist in ensuring daily operations run efficiently, including but not limited to scheduling staff, assigning work, and providing coverage
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required. Some related college level coursework preferred.</li>
<li>2 years customer service/security and corrections experience</li>
</ul>
SKILLS

 Computer skills – Basic ability to enter data, generate reports and create communications from variety of software programs and databases

 Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
 
•
 Ability to remain calm and deescalate stressful situations
 
•
 Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.

 Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, stakeholders, and with diverse client base.
 
•
 Must pass background check and have ability to access state criminal databases
 
•
 Ability to walk about a multi-floor building quickly and frequently
 
•
 Ability to lift and move furnishings while conducting searches
 
•
 Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
 
•
 Must have current CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire
