We are looking for a Fire Protection Engineer Civil Defense Certified - join immediately.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Coordinate and supervise installation of fire protection systems on site, including fire pumps, FM-200 suppression systems, foam systems, sprinklers, hose reels, fire alarm systems, and emergency lighting, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards, UAE Civil Defense regulations, and project specifications.</li><li>Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections to verify proper installation, hydraulic performance, equipment sizing, and system layout as per approved drawings and specifications.</li><li>Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements from contractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project requirements and UAE Fire &amp; Life Safety Codes.</li><li>Attend on-site coordination and technical meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors; raise and respond to RFIs, resolve technical issues, and provide real-time guidance for system installation and commissioning.</li><li>Monitor installation progress, quality, and compliance, ensuring fire protection systems are installed correctly, pressure and flow-tested, and commissioned according to Civil Defense and NFPA standards.</li><li>Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely delivery of fire protection equipment, spare parts, and materials, ensuring compatibility with site requirements and project timelines.</li><li>Support system commissioning, testing, and handover activities, including flow testing of fire pumps, FM-200 system discharge testing, sprinkler system checks, fire alarm testing, and emergency light verification.</li><li>Assist in Civil Defence inspections and approvals, preparing required documentation, reports, and compliance certificates for all installed systems.</li><li>Collaborate with design and technical office teams to ensure site changes are updated in shop drawings, BOQs, and hydraulic calculations.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily progress reports, technical clarifications, inspection records, and as-built drawings.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers, supervisors, and contractors, ensuring installation aligns with project scope, safety standards, and UAE regulations.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Engineering Degree Holder &ndash; Mechanical or Electrical</li><li>Civil Defense License</li><li>NFPA and UAE Fire Code</li><li>UAE driving license.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
