Job Summary</div><div></div>
Introba is seeking a Plumbing Designer for our St. Louis, MO location. The ideal person will mainly be responsible for designing accurate discipline specific drawings from the Senior Engineer/Senior Designers' design. Must possess ability to design and prepare drawings and specifications for small to medium projects with limited guidance.<div></div><div>

Prepare drawings</div></li><li><div>
Ability to provide preliminary piping layouts, invert elevation calculations, and details.</div></li><li><div>
Generate plans and coordinate with other trades</div></li><li><div>
Ability to perform assist with site surveys to accurately document existing conditions</div></li><li><div>
Coordinate and communicate with mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural, and civil trades</div></li><li><div>
Equipment layout and sizing</div></li><li><div>
Ability to select equipment with direction from senior staff</div></li><li><div>
Ability to provide fixture counts and calculations</div></li><li><div>
Assist in the review of shop drawing submittals from contractors</div></li><li><div>
Assist in the inspection, review, and preparation of site inspection reports</div></li><li><div>
Assist in providing construction cost opinions</div></li><li><div>
Perform preliminary code, ordinance, local amendments, building certification research and review to ensure design meet all applicable codes and safety standards</div></li><li><div>

Qualifications:</div><ul><li><div>
Associates or Technical Degree in Building Systems Engineer, Architectural Engineering or related accredited associate&rsquo;s degree program field preferred</div></li><li><div>
CPDT - Certified Plumbing Design Technician preferred</div></li><li><div>
Goal to obtain CPD &ndash; Certified Plumbing Designer</div></li><li><div>
Minimum of 3+ years&rsquo; experience in facility design and construction</div></li><li><div>
Ability to design accurate plumbing specific drawings from the engineer / Sr. Designer&rsquo;s design</div></li><li><div>
Ability to provide accurate and clean drawings</div></li><li><div>
Conceptual knowledge of Plumbing equipment and systems:</div></li><li><div>
Domestic/lab water and waste/vent, specialty lab/medical gas and vacuum, natural gas, storm water, soft water, kitchen water/waste, and hot water/recirculation systems and equipment</div></li><li><div>
Ability to create basic riser diagrams/piping layouts and insert data to schedules from data sheets</div></li><li><div>
Ability to perform basic editing of project specifications</div></li><li><div>
Basic understanding of LEED criteria and LEED process</div></li><li><div>
Ability to assist in Construction Administration duties</div></li><li><div>
