Job Description

Primary Function of Position
The U.S. Ion Clinical Sales Manager reports to the Endoluminal Program Director (Sales). This individual plays a critical role in building and developing the clinical field sales team within their region. The major responsibilities are to manage and direct the program launches and utilization of the ION System within their installed base. This will include managing installations, training and utilization growth within their assigned region and the hiring, training, and development of the sales team.
Essential Job Duties<ul><li>
Hire, train and develop the clinical team in their region.</li><li>
Manage the program launches of the ION system.</li><li>
Expand ION procedure usage in all existing accounts</li><li>
Manage training and education process within installed base</li><li>
Support KOL development across region</li><li>
Provide clinical sales team with new product information or new information on existing products</li><li>
Work with the training and marketing departments to implement new strategies and programs as directed by senior management</li></ul>

The focus of the Clinical Sales Representative (CSR) is to clinically sell to maximize the da Vinci&reg; Surgical System&rsquo;s utilization in the Los Angeles territory.

Partner with the Clinical Sales Manager to develop a sales strategy to drive robot utilization</li><li>
Mentor surgical teams through training sessions, OR integration and da Vinci&reg; Surgery applications</li><li>
Be a da Vinci&reg; Surgery resource across all primary surgical specialties</li><li>
Support regional Sales and Marketing events that create system awareness and procedure adoption</li><li>
Develop a da Vinci&reg; Surgery plan for each surgical team to ensure they can use the system unsupervised</li><li>
Drive continuous expansion of the user base by working with KOLs</li><li>
Drive the sales of instruments and accessories</li><li>

Primary Function of Position
 
The Cardiovascular Program Specialist (CVPS) will provide expert clinical support, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on the use of DaVinci cardiac surgery, devices and therapies. This role partners closely with the sales team, specifically the Cardiovascular Sales Manager (CVSM) to ensure safe and effective product adoption while driving positive patient outcomes. This role is part of a small team of strategic sales professionals across the country who are focused on developing cardiac surgeons, and all those associated with cardiac programs.
Clinical Support &amp; Case Coverage<ul><li>
Provide on-site case support in the operating room or hybrid OR for procedures involving robotic cardiac procedures and surgery technologies.</li><li>
Serve as a clinical expert for product setup, troubleshooting, and optimal use during live cases.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols.</li><li>
Expand the user base collaborating with CVSM to cultivate a training pipeline of new surgeons.</li><li>
Exhibit proficiency in multiple technology platforms to effectively support DaVinci adoption of Multiport Single Port, digital solutions, and customer needs.</li><li>
Promote advanced instruments and accessories to enhance surgical performance and promote surgeon autonomy.</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for expanding the use of the da Vinci&reg; Surgical Systems and strengthening Intuitive's partnership with healthcare facilities.</li></ul>
Training &amp; Education<ul><li>
Conduct training for physicians and care team members on indications and proper use of robotic platforms.</li><li>
Administer individualized surgeon and care team training sessions onsite and assist with organizing appropriate mentoring programs.</li><li>
Support new site start-ups by delivering onboarding programs and in-services.</li><li>
Act as a resource for ongoing education and product updates.</li><li>
Design and implement tailored da Vinci&reg; pathways for surgeons and surgical teams to ensure proficient and autonomous system use, by providing recurring care team training as needed.</li><li>
Maintain flexibility to support after-hours cases and provide weekend support as needed, dictated by the territory's adoption of robotic surgery.</li></ul>
Collaboration &amp; Sales Partnership<ul><li>
Partner with local ISI sales team, leadership, customer training, and business partners to execute the appropriate clinical plan for surgeons and surgical teams to ensure system autonomy within a reasonable time frame</li><li>
Provide clinical insights to the commercial team to shape strategy and drive business growth.</li><li>
Participate in physician education programs, workshops, and regional/national conferences.</li><li>
Facilitate the adoption of our digital solutions through enhancing our customer infrastructure and capabilities.</li><li>
Communicate and collaborate with ancillary equipment manufacturers to develop strategies to ensure overall programmatic success</li></ul>
Market &amp; Clinical Insights<ul><li>
