Position Overview</div><div>
The Data Scientist, Operations Engineering plays a critical role in delivering operational intelligence across a large fleet of solar and battery storage projects. This role leverages advanced statistical methods and modeling techniques to analyze large-scale datasets, uncover performance trends, and generate actionable insights that enhance project efficiency and reliability.</div><div></div><div>
Core Responsibilities</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Analyze large-scale operational data from solar and battery storage assets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for performance improvement.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Develop and deploy predictive models to support proactive maintenance, fault detection, and system optimization.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including performance engineering, asset management, and data analysts to translate insights into impactful solutions.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Design and implement dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Continuously improve analytical methodologies and tools to enhance data-driven decision-making.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><div><div>
Required Skills</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Data Science or related discipline, or 2+ years of work experience in Data Science position</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Proficiency in Python and SQL</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Experience finding insight from structured and unstructured data sets</div></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><div>
Excellent understanding of machine learning and AI techniques and algorithms</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Experience deploying large scale models to production including monitoring capabilities and methods for continuous improvement</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Strong communication and visualization skills</div></li><li>
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.</li></ul></div><div><div>
Preferred Skills</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Experience working with time series data within the PI software suite</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Familiarity with data science cloud platforms including Azure ML or Databricks</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Proficiency with BI visualization tools, such as Power BI</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Familiarity with cloud-based data storage</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>

Base Pay</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div></div><div><div>
$80,000 &ndash; $100,000 USD Annual<br>
Bonus: 0% - 15%</div></div><div></div><div>
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.<br>
