Position Overview</b></p><p>
As a Director, Renewable Development, you will lead the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects in California. This will be a remote position based in the San Francisco area. Will also consider qualified applicants based in Los Angeles or San Diego.</p><p></p><p><b>
Responsibilities:
</b></p><ul><li><p>Manage wind, solar, storage, geothermal projects within the California market.</p></li><li><p>
Lead development activities in early, mid, and/or late stages of projects</p></li><li><p>
Identify development prospects, including market assessments, fatal flaw identification and initial site reconnaissance.</p></li><li><p>
Secure site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases, easements and other agreements with landowners.</p></li><li><p>
Take a lead role in obtaining certain local, state and/or federal permits.</p></li><li><p>
Represent Invenergy with customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>
Initiate generation interconnection activities.</p></li><li><p>
Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules, including coordinating internal and external technical support.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Minimum Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Bachelor's Degree</p></li><li><p>
8+ years&rsquo; experience in energy project development, transmission, or power project engineering.</p></li><li><p>
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project site / company offices.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Preferred Qualifications:
</b></p><ul><li><p>Advanced degree in a related discipline such as business</p></li><li><p>
Experience supporting the design basis and specifications for site characterization and preliminary engineering works of a renewable energy project.</p></li><li><p>
Experience in the integration disciplines of a large generation facility project including interconnection, energy and capacity yield assessment, site control, ROW agreements and GIS.</p></li><li><p>
Experience supporting economic modeling for all phases of a project.</p></li><li><p>
Experience preparing RFI/RFPs, definition of work scopes and consolidation of bids from contractors in support of development activities.</p></li><li><p>
Track record managing and/or coordinating both internal and external subject matter experts in the areas of permitting, engineering, and supply chain.</p></li><li><p>
Working knowledge of design standards and impacts on solar &amp; storage technology decisions, project development impacts, and project delivery on a regional basis.</p></li></ul><p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><b>

$185,000.00 - $235,000.00 USD Annual<br>
Bonus: 30% - 40%</p><p></p><p>
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.<br>

The Executive Assistant owns end-to-end execution and outcome accountability.</p><p></p><p>
This position requires a high degree of flexibility, responsiveness, and availability, including support during evenings and weekends as needed, to ensure seamless coordination. Success in this role requires strong judgment, proactive problem-solving and communication skills, and an ability to execute efficiently within a highly dynamic environment.</p><p></p><p><b>

Executive Support &amp; Scheduling</b></p><ul><li>
Manage the principal&rsquo;s complex personal and business calendar, strategically prioritizing professional, personal, family, and philanthropic commitments while proactively resolving conflicts, anticipating scheduling needs, and optimizing the principal&rsquo;s time and availability.</li><li>
Coordinate and execute logistics for professional and personal engagements, including meetings, appointments, conferences, speaking engagements, board meetings, leadership events, travel, and hospitality events involving internal and external people.</li><li>
Support executive effectiveness and preparation, including coordinating materials and schedules for speaking engagements, attending meetings and educational programs on behalf of leadership when needed, and providing organized notes, action items, and follow-up to ensure continuity and execution.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Travel Planning &amp; Logistics</b></p><ul><li>
Plan and coordinate complex, multi-destination travel for both professional and personal purposes. Anticipate travel needs, manage changes, and resolve issues to ensure smooth execution of trips.</li><li>
Prepare detailed itineraries and ensure all travelers have the information and resources needed.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Family &amp; Schedule Management</b></p><ul><li>
Lead coordination of dynamic schedules for family, including school, activities, appointments, and other commitments.</li><li>
Communicate schedule changes clearly and promptly with all appropriate stakeholders. Provide logistical oversight as needed.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Event Planning &amp; Project Coordination</b></p><ul><li>
Serve as the primary coordinator for successful family, social, professional, and philanthropic events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale events with 40&ndash;200+ attendees.</li><li>
Prepare materials, provide on-site support, when necessary, as part of managing event setup, execution, guest experience, and post-event follow-through.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Required Skills and Capabilities</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</li><li>
Two years&rsquo; administrative experience supporting busy senior leader(s) required.</li><li>
Event planning experience preferred. Strong hospitality and relationship-management skills</li><li>
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software to include Outlook and Teams.</li><li>
