ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop services that implement data obfuscation, anonymization, and masking for sensitive customer data across eBay&rsquo;s ecosystem.&bull;Collaborate with privacy, security, and product teams to define requirements that balancecompliance, usability, and performance.&bull;Integrate obfuscation frameworks into critical systems, ensuring minimal friction for internal teams and customers.&bull;Conduct security and privacy assessments, identifying risks and applying mitigations tomeet global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).<ul><li>Develop APIs and SDKs that make data obfuscation solutions easy to adopt across teams.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor and audit obfuscation services to ensure performance, accuracy, and compliance.</li></ul>Support incident response teams in protecting sensitive data during production issues orinvestigations.Required SkillsBachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or relatedfield (or equivalent professional experience).&bull;5&ndash;8 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on security, data privacy, orbackend services.<ul><li>Strong programming skills in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js.</li></ul>Expertise in data obfuscation techniques: masking, tokenization, pseudonymization,encryption.&bull;Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB,Cassandra).&bull;Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments(Kubernetes, Docker).&bull;Strong knowledge of security and privacy principles, including regulatory frameworks(GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).&bull;&bull; Experience designing APIs, microservices, and scalable distributed systems.Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to &#8377;4,000,000.00 per yearApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have strong programming skills in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js.</li><li>Do you have expertise in data obfuscation techniques</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>security, data privacy, or backend services.: 7 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In personApplication Deadline: 06/12/2025
