Job Summary 
The Front Desk Staff is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting front desk operations. This may include handling inquiries, checking in/out members and guests, as well as completing administrative tasks. The Front Desk Staff is dedicated to offering a warm welcome and a fond farewell to all members and guests, ensuring a positive and professional experience. 
 
Reporting Structure 
<ul><li>Reports to the Front Desk Supervisor or other position(s) depending on the structure of the club</li></ul> 

Day to Day 
<ul><li>Greet members and guests with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival and departure.</li><li>Handle inquiries and provide information about club amenities, services, and events.</li><li>Assist with special requests, ensuring a positive experience for all members and guests.</li><li>Manage the check-in and check-out process for members and guests efficiently.</li><li>Verify membership status, collect fees, and issue access cards or keys as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of member and guest visits.</li><li>Monitor and ensure that the front desk area and lobby are clean, organized, and wellmaintained.</li><li>Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.</li><li>Ensure that all club policies and procedures are followed by members and guests.</li><li>Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications to the appropriate departments.</li><li>Schedule and confirm appointments or reservations for club facilities and services.</li><li>Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions accurately.</li></ul> 

Additional Duties 
<ul><li>Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
</li><li>Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.</li><li>Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.</li><li>Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.</li><li>Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.</li><li>Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.</li><li>Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team&rsquo;s success.</li></ul> 

About You 
Required 
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li></ul>
Preferred 
<ul><li>Previous experience in customer service or front desk role in a golf and country club or fitness center setting.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficiency in using office equipment, such as computers, telephones, and reservation systems.</li><li>Basic knowledge of club operations and amenities is a plus.</li></ul> 

Physical Requirements 
<ul><li>General Activity: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving</li><li>Environmental Exposure: Occasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases</li><li>Physical Actions: Squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending</li></ul>
&bull; Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion &bull; Sensory Requirements: Talking, hearing, and seeing

Work Schedule 
<ul><li>Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule.</li><li>Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines.</li><li>Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.</li></ul></div><div>
