In order to build and enhance our next-generation services and product portfolios, we are looking for a hands-on BI Specialist. Given the startup-like environment that we have, the person in this role is expected to expand into multiple different aspects of BI and dashboard visualization.</div><div>
The BI Specialist will join our growing team of data science experts and translate raw data into valuable business insights for our clients. In this role, we expect you to have a<b> strong data understanding, data Modelling, business intelligence (including slicing/dicing data), dashboard UI/X, and visualization</b> skills. The ability to communicate effectively is essential. Your goal will be to help us meet the goals and objectives of our clients.</div><div>

The person should be able to:</b></div><ul><li>
Understand the business needs and objectives of our clients from various sectors such as FMCG, E-commerce, FinTech, Manufacturing, etc.</li><li>
Liaise with stakeholders &ndash; both external (clients) and internal (data science and data engineering teams) &ndash; to fully understand data content and context.</li><li>
Build dashboards to drive insights and communicate through visual stories.</li><li>
Gather, prepare, and create visual models of business data to produce informative and user-friendly dashboards and reports (on BI platforms such as Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, etc.), to enable actionable insights for the stakeholders/clients / decision-makers.</li><li>
Align with the data engineering team, data science team, and business users for effective tracking of business KPIs in the right business context.</li><li>
Communicate results and business impacts of insights to stakeholders within and outside of the company.</li><li>
Imbibe and drive the culture of the analytics organization to create an egalitarian merit-driven organization and help the team grow.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Skillset expected:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Proven experience in a hands-on BI Specialist role for at least 6+ years.</div><div></div><div><br>
Ability to think independently and take ownership.</div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Ability to understand the business needs and objectives of our clients, with good communication skills.</li><br>
<li>
Excellent dashboarding skills (Microsoft Power BI is a must) with a passion for driving insights using data.</li></ul><div><br>
Solid experience in data analysis, data filtering, data cleansing, data enrichment, data wrangling, reporting, within a given business context.</div><div></div><div><br>
Experience of working with Excel, R, Python and SQL are mandatory.</div><div></div><div><br>
Knowledge of machine learning &amp; statistical techniques is not mandatory, but nice-to-have.</div><div></div><div><br>
Most importantly, problem-solving aptitude and eagerness to learn new technologies &amp; tools</div></div><div></div>
