Job Title: Operating Engineer / Supervisor (Required Male Candidates Only)Job Overview:A Water Treatment Plant Operating Engineer / Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of drinking water by operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring water quality, and ensuring compliance with regulationsJob description:<ul><li>Operate and monitor water treatment equipment and processes to ensure the delivery of clean and safe drinking water to the community.</li><li>Perform regular inspections and tests on water samples to monitor the quality of treated water, including pH levels, chlorine levels, turbidity, and other parameters.</li><li>Adjust treatment processes and equipment settings as necessary to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of water treatment plant operations, including daily logs, test results, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water treatment equipment, such as pumps, valves, filters, and chemical feed systems.</li><li>Analyze data and trends to identify issues or potential improvements in the water treatment process, and implement necessary corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines, such as those set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and any local or state agencies.</li><li>Respond to emergencies or equipment malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize disruption to the water treatment process and prevent any impact on public health.</li><li>Collaborate with other operators and maintenance staff to coordinate plant operations and maintenance activities.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest advancements in water treatment technology and regulations to ensure continuous improvement in plant operations.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and systems.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the treatment process.</li><li>Attention to detail to accurately monitor and analyze water samples and equipment readings.</li><li>Ability to interpret and apply regulations and guidelines related to water treatment, safety, and environmental protection.</li><li>Effective communication skills to coordinate and collaborate with team members, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Physical stamina and agility to perform routine maintenance tasks, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.</li><li>Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in emergency situations.</li><li>Proficient computer skills for data entry, analysis, and reporting.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience:&middot; Any Degree/Diploma/B.E Any specialisation.&middot; Fresher or Experience 1+ years of Water Treatment Plant Operating Engineer experience.Benefit: Accommodation free, Uniform And Safety Shoe Provide.Experience Certificate Provide.Job location: Chennai/ThiruvananthapuramContact details:Contact Person: U.
