As our AI Product Chief Architect, you will own the technical architecture of one of Sparkrock's core product platforms &mdash; a long-lived, enterprise system that includes a legacy layer being evolved toward a modern stack &mdash; and you'll do it AI-first. This role goes beyond writing requirements, and in fact beyond writing code at all: you set the architectural direction, system boundaries, data contracts, and evolution strategy, and you direct AI agents to implement your decisions. We're stack-agnostic &mdash; what matters is how you think architecturally and how you operate agents, not which language is on your CV.</p>

Most &quot;AI&quot; engineering roles are really AI-assisted coding. This one is different: you architect the system and direct a team of agents to build it, holding quality, correctness, and maintainability as the agents do the implementation. This is not a traditional software engineering leadership role focused on roadmap execution, release management, or managing a large reporting line. Your mission is to build the AI-Native Engineering Operating System for Sparkrock: the experiments, workflows, standards, metrics, guardrails, playbooks, and coaching systems that define how our engineering teams build software in the AI era.</p>
