Position Summary
The Regional Manager is a high-impact leader responsible for the operational, clinical, and financial performance of multiple dental practices within a designated geographic area. This role bridges the gap between strategic leadership and day-to-day practice operations, driving alignment with company goals, ensuring excellence in patient experience, optimizing financial outcomes, and developing high-performing teams. The Regional Manager will serve as a mentor, coach, and performance driver, with strong analytical acumen and an operational mindset.
Operational Oversight<ul><li>
Ensure execution of standardized operating procedures across all practices</li><li>
Conduct regular office visits to monitor cleanliness, team culture, safety protocols, and efficiency</li><li>
Evaluate practice performance using operational scorecards and audit tools</li><li>
Resolve escalated operational or patient issues quickly and professionally</li><li>
Implement workflow enhancements that improve patient access and reduce inefficiencies</li></ul>
Financial &amp; Business Performance<ul><li>
Analyze office-level and regional financial reports (P&amp;L, KPIs, AR) monthly</li><li>
Drive cost containment initiatives including dental/office supply spend and staffing optimization</li><li>
Set and manage regional budgets in partnership with Leann</li><li>
Identify and address underperformance through corrective action plans</li><li>
Champion operational strategies that support EBITDA growth</li></ul>
Team Leadership &amp; Development<ul><li>
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning for office leadership roles</li><li>
Create individualized development plans for managers and key staff</li><li>
Facilitate weekly touchpoints with OM&rsquo;s, monthly office performance reviews, and monthly Office Manager meetings</li><li>
Model and reinforce servant leadership principles</li><li>
Manage employee relations and support resolution of HR concerns</li></ul>
Clinical Collaboration &amp; Provider Support<ul><li>
Partner with Clinical Leaders and EDO to align clinical goals with operational performance</li><li>
Monitor and support daily provider schedules to optimize productivity</li><li>
Support transitions of clinical providers, including onboarding and exit planning</li><li>
Collaborate with providers to improve patient case acceptance and recall</li><li>
Assist in managing patient feedback and experience initiatives</li></ul>
Revenue Cycle Management &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Collaborate with OM to review AR aging and resolve systemic billing issues</li><li>
Provide office training and guidance on best practices for claims, insurance verification, and collections</li><li>
Monitor and coach managers on front-office and financial presentation skills utilizing 10 step financial presentation SOP</li><li>
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols via audits and training</li></ul>
Strategic Planning &amp; Growth Execution<ul><li>
Contribute to development and execution of the company&rsquo;s growth roadmap</li><li>
Support integration and stabilization of new acquisitions and de novo locations</li><li>
Partner with marketing to execute regional campaigns, promotions, and events</li><li>
Conduct competitive market analysis and identify local growth opportunities</li><li>
Present regional performance and initiatives to executive leadership quarterly (QBR)</li></ul>
Requirements:

 Required Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>
Minimum 5 years of progressive multi-site leadership in dental or healthcare</li><li>
Deep understanding of P&amp;L, budget planning, and strategic financial management</li><li>
High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills, ability to de-escalate situations effectively</li><li>
Ability to influence across multiple stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships</li><li>
Proficiency in Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Ascend (or equivalent)</li><li>
Analytical thinker with ability to interpret data and take decisive action</li><li>
Commitment to coaching, mentoring, and developing emerging leaders</li><li>
Change management expertise in rapidly growing environments</li></ul>
Work Schedule, Office Visit &amp; Travel Expectations<ul><li>
Full-time Position</li><li>
On-site field support required 3&ndash;4 days per week across assigned region</li><li>
Remote administrative work 1&ndash;2 days per week</li><li>
Evening and weekend availability for events, trainings, or urgent escalations as needed</li><li>
Ensuring to be present with office (supporting clinical in the back, sitting at front, should not be traveling to offices and &ldquo;working&rdquo; in a &ldquo;side&rdquo; office)</li><li>
Strategically plan and coordinate travel schedules to maximize regional coverage while ensuring cost-effective use of company resources.</li></ul></div>
