The role
As Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize production and equipment maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. You will manage multi-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in delivering site performance targets. Strong leadership, operational expertise, and data-driven decision-making are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Champion safety across the plant, exceeding company policies and legal requirements</li><li>
Lead daily production and maintenance operations in line with business objectives</li><li>
Monitor, analyze, and communicate production metrics and KPIs</li><li>
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance programs</li><li>
Ensure accurate, timely production reporting within the ERP system (IFS)</li><li>
Identify and execute corrective actions to reduce downtime, costs, and schedule deviations</li><li>
Oversee equipment and tooling maintenance to maximize productivity and efficiency</li><li>
Implement the company Quality Policy with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem prevention</li><li>
Develop, train, and motivate teams; ensure completion of all required training</li><li>
Support budgeting and forecasting activities with a focus on labor and direct costs</li><li>
Act as a visible champion of company values and a proactive member of the site leadership team</li></ul>
Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field</li><li>
Minimum 3 years&rsquo; experience in manufacturing or operations management</li><li>
Strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies</li><li>
Proven experience across production, maintenance, quality, and technical processes</li><li>
Technically capable of troubleshooting mechanical issues with molds and machinery</li><li>
Knowledge of production scheduling, facility operations, and automated equipment (machines, conveyors, robotics)</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred</li><li>
PMP or Project Management certification is an advantage</li></ul>
