We are looking for a talented <b>Senior Mechanical Engineer, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)</b> to join our dedicated team at our office located <b>IN ANY OF IPS US LOCATIONS (CA,KS,NC,MD,PA,NJ,MA).</b></div><div></div><div><br>
In this role, you will work independently on various projects as assigned by a Manager or Group Lead. The CFD Engineer may assist as a technical expert on specialized design. You may work on several concurrent projects.</div><div></div><div><br>
Additional Responsibilities</div><ul><li>
Develop and validate CFD models using AutoDesk CFD or other industry-standard software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, STAR-CCM+).</li><li>
Perform CFD simulations for HVAC systems, cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities, and industrial processes to predict airflow, temperature distribution, and pressure drops.</li><li>
Interpret simulation results and provide actionable design recommendations to improve system performance and energy efficiency.</li><li>
Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate CFD findings into design documents and specifications.</li><li>
Prepare engineering studies, feasibility reports, and technical documentation for CFD analyses.</li><li>
Optimize designs through parametric studies and sensitivity analyses.</li><li>
Performs additional tasks or special projects as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications &amp; Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.</li><li>
8+ years of experience in CFD analysis with strong Autodesk CFD expertise.</li><li>
Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit)</li><li>
Understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.</li><li>
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year College or University.</li></ul><div>
Preferred Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Professional Engineer (PE) license.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
Physical Demands</div><ul><li>
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.</li><li>
Must possess the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.</li><li>
Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.</li><li>
Must be able to climb ladders as necessary.</li></ul><div>
Work Environment</div><ul><li>
Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying working conditions.</li><li>
Must be able to adhere to strict cleanroom gowning protocol.</li></ul><div>
Travel</div><ul><li>
Travel is based on the project and the project location.</li></ul><div>
Safety</div><ul><li>
This position is a safety-sensitive position.</li><li>
The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other &quot;non-administrative&quot; areas.</li></ul><div>
