Graphic Designer &ndash; School &amp; Sports MarketingIron City Studios &ndash; Hoover, AL (On-site position)Iron City Studios is a high-volume school &amp; sports photography company serving schools and athletic programs across Alabama. We are looking for a creative, technically strong Graphic Designer with experience in sports branding, visual marketing, and template-based production workflows.This role supports school and sports partners by producing dynamic marketing graphics, banners, posters, promotional materials, product layouts, and digital content used across web, email, signage, and print.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design creative assets for school and sports photography programs</li><li>Create high-impact sports layouts, banners, posters, and marketing graphics</li><li>Assist in the development of visual branding packages and seasonal campaign themes</li><li>Execute design projects supporting sales, school onboarding, and marketing initiatives</li><li>Prepare print-ready files for production and print workflows</li><li>Edit, modify, or update existing templates (sports, seasonal, school branding, etc.)</li><li>Support the production team with image preparation as needed</li><li>Manage deadlines, project queues, and approval workflows - Using Wrike</li><li>Maintain organized file structures and naming conventions</li><li>Design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, banners, and advertisements</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Sports graphic design</li><li>School or education-based marketing (bonus!)</li><li>Multi-project creative workflow experience</li><li>Understanding of color, layout, typography, and brand consistency</li><li>Familiarity with print-production file setups</li></ul>Bonus Skills(Not required, but highly preferred)<ul><li>Ability to code simple changes in HTML / CSS</li><li>Experience with basic automation or scripting</li><li>Experience in photography, media, or marketing agency environments</li><li>Knowledge of print layouts, sizing, bleed, trim, and CMYK color</li></ul>Project Management &amp; WorkflowWe strongly prefer candidates with:<ul><li>Organizational strength</li><li>Experience juggling multiple deadlines</li><li>Ability to prioritize and self-manage</li><li>Professional communication with internal teams</li></ul>Experience with project management tools, ticketing, or workflow boards is a plus.Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years graphic design or creative production experience</li><li>Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (PS, AI, ID required)</li><li>Portfolio demonstrating sports-style design or high-energy branding work</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li></ul>Pay: $22.82 - $27.49 per hourExpected hours: 30.0 &ndash; 40.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
