Overview We are a growing manufacturing company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper &amp; Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is primarily focused on bookkeeping and accounting support, while also assisting with general administrative work as needed.This is an excellent opportunity for a bookkeeping professional with a minimum of two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience who is looking to further develop their accounting skills in a hands-on business environment. We are seeking a candidate who is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working with numbers, financial records, and business software systems.As the company continues to grow, there may be opportunities for the successful candidate to take on additional administrative responsibilities and expand their role based on their interests, strengths, and career goals.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online</li><li>Verify, upload, and enter vendor invoices and expenses</li><li>Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities</li><li>Support accounts payable and expense tracking</li><li>Assist with month-end inventory reconciliations and closing activities</li><li>Maintain accurate digital financial records and filing systems</li><li>Provide backup support to the Office Administrator as required</li><li>Support general office operations including answering phones, receiving deliveries, and occasional errands</li><li>Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks Online required</li><li>Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Comfortable learning new systems and processes</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word</li><li>Dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated</li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information</li></ul>This role is ideal for someone who has established foundational bookkeeping experience and is looking to continue building their career in accounting and finance.
