The Position:

We are looking for a positive, energetic Project Coordinator with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. We are looking for someone in and around the Mississippi area. Applicants should have the ability to:
<ul>
<li>Confer with Project Controls Manager to establish and maintain documentation tracking and reporting procedures on projects.</li>
<li>Confer with Project Controls Manager to establish and maintain file systems and document controls distribution as required.</li>
<li>Requisition material purchase orders according to bid documents and approved vendors as required.</li>
<li>Confer with Project Controls Manager to estimate labor, price materials, and prepare change orders.</li>
<li>Support the cost plus/lump sum billing procedures according to contract specifications as required.</li>
<li>Support document flow to regional office, field and client.</li>
<li>Participate in solving problems with Accounting and Client on invoicing when necessary.</li>
<li>Manage the material release schedule and delivery with Purchasing Agent and Project Controls Manager/Project Manager/Supervisor.</li>
<li>Acquire growing awareness of client relations through communication and personal interaction.</li>
<li>Support payroll data entry and processing as required.</li>
<li>Support miscellaneous office administration as required.</li>
<li>Support tool/equipment inventory tracking and requisitioning as required.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients.</li>
<li>Ability to work with diverse workforce in the department and company.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.</li>
<li>General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>General knowledge of electrical and instrumentation materials, tools, and equipment.</li>
<li>Strong personal character that exhibits dependability, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance, willingness to listen and learn, and attention to detail.</li>
<li>General knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, 
and Vista.</li>
<li>Reasonable ability to self-manage especially in the areas of planning, organizing, 
delegating and decision making.</li>
</ul>
Prerequisites:
<ul>
<li>Construction management degree or related technical degree; Approximately six months to one year of hands-on field experience in the industrial electrical and instrumentation industry; Approximately two (2) to three (3) years&rsquo; experience in electrical and instrumentation project controls. Up to six (6) months credit may be applied for participating in the ISC construction intern program.</li>
<li>Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment, drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.</li>
<li>High ethical standards &ndash; unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients</li>
<li>Ability to work with other personalities in the department and company.</li>
<li>Reasonable ability to read drawings and interpret specifications and contract 
language.</li>

Project Controls Intern - Mission Critical, Mississippi

The Position:

We are looking for a Custodian to work on the campus of our corporate office in Baton Rouge. This position assists and works under the close supervision of the Facility Maintenance Manager in the performance of their duties by completing supportive type activities as directed

Summary: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, hallways, and stairs, vacuuming rugs, and dusting and cleaning glass in assigned buildings.
<ul>
<li>Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
</li><li>Gather and empty trash.
</li><li>Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
</li><li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
</li><li>Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.</li>
<li>Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking and unlocking doors after operating hours.</li>
<li>Maintain building and grounds, inclusive of removing debris, cleaning, handling, and disposing of trash and moving tools and other work items to their appropriate locations.
</li><li>Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
</li><li>Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.</li>
<li>Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.</li>
<li>Perform other tasks and activities assigned by supervision.</li>
</ul>
