The Position:
We are looking for a Quality Inspector with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce in the Data Center environment located in the Conesville, Ohio area. Applicants should have the ability to:<ul><li>
Perform planned audits and surveillance of execution activities to ensure compliance to Project requirements.</li><li>
Performing audits and surveillance of subcontractors, suppliers, and sub-suppliers, when required.</li><li>
Monitor and report on the status of implementation of the Project Quality Management System and its effectiveness.</li><li>
Identifying and recording quality problems and opportunities for improvement and initiating or recommending solutions.</li><li>
Assure that the contract obligations for testing and record keeping are adhered to.</li><li>
Ensure proper turnover of complete quality control package(s). Responsible for ensuring that turnover documentation is maintained, organized and turned over on schedule.</li><li>
Interact with management and customer personnel as needed during the resolution of quality issues or customer audits.</li><li>
Strong communication skills are required for regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Previous experience in managing quality assurance processes within large-scale industrial or data center projects is preferred.</li><li>
Facilitate project quality meetings when necessary.</li><li>
Knowledgeable in applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks</li><li>
Technical knowledge related to engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, inspection, and testing is required to understand specified requirements.</li><li>
Knowledge of industry codes and standards pertaining to electrical installation and testing.</li><li>
Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.</li><li>
Manages deliverables of all L1, L2, L3 QAQC, Testing, and CX coordination.</li><li>
Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment.</li><li>
Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment, or possess an electrical state journeyman license.</li><li>
Applicants for this position are required to possess ten (10) years of relevant experience in electrical work.</li><li>
A minimum of six (6) years of QA/QC experience in the fabrication, testing, and installation of electrical systems is required.</li></ul>
