Role OverviewISIE India is looking for a Purchase Engineer with experience in EV workbench / lab setup manufacturing. The role involves sourcing mechanical, electrical, and EV-specific components, coordinating with vendors and production teams, and ensuring cost-effective, high-quality procurement for EV training and testing workbenches.Key ResponsibilitiesProcure materials for EV workbench manufacturing, including:<ul><li>Mechanical structures, frames, fixtures</li><li>Electrical panels, wiring, connectors, sensors</li><li>EV components</li><li>Source and onboard vendors for fabrication, machining, and electrical components</li><li>Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per BOM and project timelines</li><li>Coordinate with design, production, and lab teams for technical requirements</li><li>Ensure quality, specifications, and compliance of purchased materials</li><li>Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers</li><li>Track material delivery schedules and manage shortages or delays</li><li>Support cost optimization and alternate vendor development</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Mechatronics preferred)</li><li>06 months &ndash; 1 year of experience in technical purchase or manufacturing procurement</li><li>Hands-on experience in EV workbench, lab equipment, or industrial manufacturing purchase</li><li>Knowledge of EV components and electrical systems (added advantage)</li><li>Experience with ERP systems, Excel, and inventory tracking</li><li>Strong negotiation and coordination skills</li></ul>Preferred Skills (Good to Have)<ul><li>Exposure to EV labs, training institutes, or R&amp;D setups</li><li>Understanding of safety standards and electrical compliance</li><li>Vendor experience in sheet metal, fabrication, electrical panels, and automation</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;25,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
