Job Summary Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and bilingual skills will ensure a safe and secure environment for all. In this role, you will be the first line of defense, monitoring premises, managing access points, and providing excellent customer service. Your ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish will be essential in engaging with diverse visitors, staff, and vendors. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment committed to safety and integrity.Responsibilities<ul><li>Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.</li><li>Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.</li><li>Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats.</li><li>Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.</li><li>Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.</li><li>Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage.</li><li>Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring safety and well-being of all individuals on site.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse populations.</li><li>Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.</li><li>Certification or training in first aid, CPR, conflict management, or law enforcement is a plus.</li><li>Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.</li><li>Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring premises and recording incidents.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations professionally and calmly.
