Overview Island Recycling Inc., a well established company for over 40 years is seeking a general mechanic for our busy Campbell location. We offer competitive pay, paid vacation, 401k, and health benefits.Responsibilities<ul><li>Troubleshoot, repair and maintain various equipment and machinery (ie. balers, excavators, skid steers, forklifts, loaders, etc) as well as commercial diesel trucks</li><li>Process reports per DOT requirements</li><li>Maintain necessary parts inventory system and mechanic shop</li><li>Utilize precision measuring instruments like ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>ASE Certified preferred</li><li>Minimum 2 years experience with hydraulic equipment repair preferred</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean record</li><li>Welding and torching skills. Welding certificate a plus</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
