Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction sets us apart in the industry.Position Overview: As our Plant Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and procuring a diverse range of plants, trees, and landscaping material that align with our nursery's high standards. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating fair pricing, and ensuring that our inventory remains diverse, healthy, and appealing to our customer base.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with local and regional plant and landscaping suppliers. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure the best possible deals for the nursery.</li><li>Product Sourcing: Source high-quality plants and materials that cater to our customers' preferences and local climate conditions.</li><li>Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of plants, trees, and landscaping products.</li><li>Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for quality, health, and accuracy. Ensure that all products meet our nursery's standards and are free from pests and diseases.</li><li>Price Analysis: Regularly analyze pricing trends, competitive offerings, and market fluctuations. Adjust purchasing strategies to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, anticipate demand, and tailor product offerings accordingly.
