Company:Ismail Stores Supply (ISS) (Leading Ship Chandler &amp; Marine Supplier &ndash; www.ismailstores.in)Location: Kidderpore, Kolkata (On-site)About the Role:We&rsquo;re hiring a Purchase Officer / Assistant to manage our end-to-end procurement operations for marine and industrial supplies. This is a new full-time role reporting directly to the Sales &amp; Marketing Manager.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Understand product requirements and specifications.</li><li>Obtain and compare vendor quotations for best prices.</li><li>Prepare company-format quotations and purchase orders in Excel.</li><li>Place POs, track deliveries, and follow up with suppliers.</li><li>Purchase items directly from Burra Bazar as required.</li><li>Liaise with onboard delivery teams and coordinate supplies.</li><li>Continuously identify new vendors and cheaper sourcing options (online &amp; offline).</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 12th pass, with 1&ndash;3 years experience in purchasing or supply chain.</li><li>Experience in marine / industrial procurement preferred.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Zoho Books.</li><li>Strong in negotiation, vendor management, and attention to detail.</li><li>Good communication and organization skills.</li></ul>Work Details:Timing: Monday&ndash;Saturday, 10:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM Salary: &#8377;14,000 &ndash; &#8377;15,000 per month Start Date: Within 1 weekBenefits:<ul><li>Travel allowance</li><li>Phone reimbursement</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Festive bonus</li><li>Career growth opportunity</li></ul>How to Apply:Apply directly through Indeed with your updated resume.
