Job Overview Title: RF Engineer/ Electrical Engineer Client: defense &amp; aerospace client Location: Tucson, AZ Duration: 12 months with Temp to Perm (Performance Based) 1st 2nd &amp; 3rd shift avlActive Secret Clearance requiredDescription:<ul><li>EE team who supports production to resolve issues and keep the hardware builds moving forward.</li></ul>Position Overview Responsibilities include the ability to make a quick assessment of a problem, identify additional information required, understand the resources available, compare the urgency of the issue to other failures/issues, and to take the understanding of these parts and create a path for troubleshoot and/or correction and final resolution. Then it is required to be able to communicate this plan to a cross functional team with diverse backgrounds. And lastly to continue to drive updates and status of this plan along the way.Key deliverables for this role<ul><li>Change documentation preparation and presentation</li><li>Hardware troubleshooting</li><li>Own and manage an issue project to completion</li></ul>What does success look like for this role?<ul><li>Able to solve problems quickly and correctly, communicate effectively across multiple teams, take ownership to see a task to completion in a timely manner</li></ul>Required and Desired Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems</li><li>Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.</li><li>Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardwar</li><li>Background in designing electronic or electro optical subsystems, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices</li><li>Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across electrical design, simulation, and measurement domains</li><li>Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies</li><li>Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical guidance, coordination, and project oversight</li></ul>Day-to-Day Responsibilities<ul><li>Resolve production and supplier issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions</li><li>Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparing change packages for review boards</li><li>Diagnose hardware failures using a range of electronic test equipment and analysis tools</li><li>Evaluate defect and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring failures</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work, and support general electrical engineering activities in production environments</li></ul>Years of Experience Required<ul><li>3 to 5 years</li></ul>Education Required<ul><li>BSEE or equivalent</li></ul>Pay: $50.00 - $95.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Relocation assistance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Electrical engineering: 3 years (Required)</li><li>RF signal: 3 years (Required)</li><li>circuit card assembly: 3 years (Required)</li><li>PCB: 3 years (Required)</li><li>digital/ analog signal testing: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Security clearance:<ul><li>Secret (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Tucson, AZ 85756: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
