We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Data Center Design Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end design of data center facilities, ensuring high availability, scalability, energy efficiency, and compliance with international and local standards. The role covers concept, detailed design, coordination, and design support during construction and commissioning.Key Responsibilities:1. Data Center Design &amp; EngineeringDevelop concept, schematics, and detailed designs for data centersDesign electrical and mechanical systems including:a. Power distribution (MV/LV, UPS, generators, ATS, PDUs)b. Cooling systems (chillers, CRAH/CRAC, liquid cooling readiness)c. Define redundancy architecture (N+1, 2N, Concurrent Maintainability)2. Load, Capacity &amp; Resilience PlanningPerform power and cooling load calculationsPlan for high-density racks, AI / GPU workloadsOptimize space utilization and future scalability3. Design Coordination &amp; ReviewsCoordinate with:a) Architectsb) Structural engineersc) ICT / IT infrastructure teamsd) Review vendor drawings and technical submittalse) Resolve design clashes and constructability issues4. Documentation &amp; ReportingPrepare:a) Design reportsb) Single Line Diagrams (SLD)c) Layouts and schematicsd) Basis of Design (BoD)e) Maintain version control and change managementRequired Qualifications:Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or related fields.5-10 years of UAE experience in Data center design and Mission critical facilities (DC, Airports, Hospitals).Driving License is a plus.Technical Skills:Strong expertise in:a) Electrical or Mechanical DC systemsb) Familiarity with:c) BIM / Revit / AutoCADd) ETAP, SKM, or similar power analysis toolse) Knowledge of BMS / DCIM design integrationCertifications (Preferred):Uptime Institute (ATD)CDCP / CDCSLEED (for sustainability-focused roles)Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
