SUMMARY
The Strategic Marketing / Product Manager is the thought leader who sets the strategic and product portfolio direction while owning and driving segmentation and brand strategies for ITW Professional Automotive Aftermarket Business Unit with multiple brands across all automotive service channels. The key deliverable is driving above-market profitable growth while expanding market share by leveraging the brands performance, quality, and history. This role will support the marketplace intelligence needs of the business unit to drive key strategic decisions. The Strategic Marketing / Product Manager reports to the Business Unit Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Business Unit.</li><li>
Define, structure and lead the execution of Voice-Of-Customer initiatives to identify market needs and opportunities that will enable the Business Unit to achieve its growth targets.</li><li>
Drive portfolio segmentation and develop a clear strategy for brands to achieve sustainable growth.</li><li>
Partner with R&amp;D Leader in new product development, from business case creation to product launch.</li><li>
Lead marketing communication; Develop effective sales tools and ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives to deliver business results.</li><li>
Develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs.</li><li>
Develop, implement and oversee strategic price model for the Business Unit.</li><li>
Collaborate with Technical team to create training programs to inform and support distributors, sales force and end-users.</li><li>
Act as a subject matter expert, coach, mentor, and develop talent and processes to increase marketing competence across the division.</li><li>
Practice the executive decision-making process by the implementation and execution of market research and intelligence gathering plan and related strategies.</li><li>
Contribute to continuous improvement leveraging ITW&rsquo;s Business Model.</li><li>
Promote, support, and adhere to all safety and quality related policies and procedures.</li></ul>

</li></ul>Education and Work Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Business; MBA preferred.</li><li>
10+ years experience with atleast 5+ years in Business-2-Business environment.
</li><li>Market growth/ expansion experience within the chemical industry is preferred; Automotive Aftermarket experience preferred</li><li>
Demonstrated marketing leadership delivering results.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to lead a project team through market assessment, customer needs, and product creation that led to significant sales.</li><li>
Success in building Value Proposition skills and capabilities amongst Teams, and in execution leading to financial results.</li><li>
Proven application of analytical, planning, forecasting, and budgeting /financial skills.</li><li>
Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.</li><li>
The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities.</li><li>
Competitive Insights experience preferred.</li><li>
Ability to travel up to 30%</li></ul>

In this role, you will provide comprehensive support across all areas of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, training, HRIS/payroll, benefits, compliance, safety, and employee engagement. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, helping to ensure consistency, compliance, and a positive workplace culture while aligning HR practices with business goals.
What you will do:<ul><li>
Leads the overall recruiting process including but not limited to: scoping roles, sourcing applicants, interviewing candidates, and complying with record keeping requirements. Partners with hiring managers to screen candidates, conduct interviews, and select best fit talent for open positions</li><li>
Drives continual learning environment through the creation, administration, and delivery of training and development programs.</li><li>
Functions as an advisor to plant management regarding the application of employment law and company policies to specific business decisions and performance management.</li><li>
Organizes, conducts, and continually improves new employee onboarding; creates a positive first experience of the company.</li><li>
Drives positive organizational culture with emphasis on safety, the employee experience, and cross functional teamwork.</li><li>
Maintains accurate and up to date employee related data in HRIS and other applicable systems/files.</li><li>
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.</li><li>
Responds to inquiries regarding benefit programs, policy administration, etc. and educates and supports employees in the use of the self-service applications available to them.</li><li>
Manages the administration of STD, LTD, and FMLA.</li><li>
Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul>

At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources</li><li>
General knowledge of HR laws, i.e., FMLA, HR compliance, etc.</li><li>
Knowledge and proficiency of HRIS</li><li>
Strong technical skills/aptitude and proficiency in MS Office programs</li></ul>
