Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Rehab Aide/Tech to join our team at Ivy Hill Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation in Wyndmoor, PA. Under the close supervision of a licensed therapist, the Rehab Aide/Tech will perform delegated, selected, or routine tasks in specific situations to support patient care and therapy activities.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Prepare patients and treatment areas for therapy sessions</li><li>
Clean and organize work areas, disinfect equipment, and maintain infection control procedures</li><li>
Perform administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments</li><li>
Assist patients with exercises and functional activities under the direction of a licensed therapist</li><li>
Monitor and maintain inventory of general supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed</li><li>
Provide additional support to staff as needed</li><li>
Complete other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to create and maintain a safe and effective environment</li><li>
Excellent verbal/communication and collaboration skills</li><li>
Physical Therapy Aide experience preferred, but not required</li><li>
Ability to adapt and be flexible with changes in workload</li><li>
Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength</li></ul>
