<div>J &amp; J Air is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, working with a lead installer. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The HVAC Installation Assistant will ensure that all systems are installed correctly and function efficiently to meet client satisfaction.</div><div><br>

<div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Assist lead technicians in the installation of HVAC systems and components</li>
<li>Install HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes</li>
<li>Build comfort systems by installing air handlers, condensing units, package equipment, duct work, and refrigerant tubing</li>
<li>Complete high and low voltage power connections</li>
<li>Perform system start-up and commissioning, including verifying refrigerant charge, cfm settings and temperature difference</li>
<li>Collaborate with a lead installer to complete installations in a timely manner</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and service orders of work performed and materials used</li>
<li>Keep tools and company vehicle maintained by following being organized and proactive</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all installations</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with clients regarding system operation and maintenance requirements</li>
</ul><div><b>Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>2 years experience in HVAC installation preferred</li>
<li>Ability to lift heavy equipment, operate tools and equipment safely and effectively</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work</li>
<li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record</li>
<li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced installers and managers</li>
<li>Familiarity with mechanics, appliance repair, field service, property maintenance, welding, or boiler systems is advantageous</li>
</ul><div><b>Schedule:</b></div>
<ul><li>8 hour shift</li>
<li>Monday to Friday</li>
<li>Typical hours 7am-4pm</li>
</ul><div><b>Supplemental pay types:</b></div>
<ul><li>Bonus pay - $1500</li>
<li>Commission pay</li>
