This is not an entry-level role.Candidates must have:<ul><li>Their own tools</li><li>A valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>A reliable truck or van for travel to job sites</li></ul>Compensation will reflect these requirements.We are currently hiring an experienced Rough and Finish Carpenter with experience in the remodeling industry. This position requires the ability to lead a crew effectively while possessing strong skills in both rough and finish carpentry.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform demolition and rough framing of structures as required.</li><li>Lead job sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.</li><li>Read and interpret construction plans and drawings for accurate installation of millwork.</li><li>Install cabinets, doors, stairs, trim, and other millwork components with precision.</li><li>Proficiently cut and install crown molding and other finish carpentry details.</li><li>Review plans and drawings daily to ensure precise installation.</li><li>Collaborate with a helper to complete high-quality remodeling projects, including windows, doors, cabinets, trim, decks, porches, pergolas, porticos, etc.</li><li>Work both indoors and outdoors, specializing in installing headers, LVLs, beams, and other structural framing elements.</li><li>Handle residential additions and lower levels projects with expertise.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in rough carpentry and structural framing in a lead capacity within the remodeling or new construction sector.</li><li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in finish carpentry, preferred.</li><li>Leadership skills to manage and motivate a crew effectively.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.</li><li>Possession of own tools essential for rough and finish carpentry tasks.</li><li>Experience in improvisation and problem-solving when issues arise.</li><li>Proficiency in structural framing techniques.</li><li>Physically fit, able to lift up to 75 lbs.</li><li>Clean driving record.</li><li>Reliable vehicle to travel to jobsites.</li></ul>Additional Skills (Preferred):<ul><li>Background in high-quality remodeling projects in residential settings.</li><li>Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience and skills.</li><li>401k</li><li>PTO</li><li>Medical, dental, vision</li></ul>If you meet the above qualifications and are seeking a challenging and rewarding career as a Rough and Finish Carpenter, we encourage you to apply.
