Responsibilities :

Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill&rsquo;s merchandise to offer expert guidance and recommendations.</li><li>
Help maintain visual merchandising standards and floor set execution, and participate in all operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.</li><li>
Work closely with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.</li><li>
Proactively address customer needs and concerns with a friendly and solution-oriented approach.</li><li>

Qualifications :

<ul><li>Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.</li><li>

Physical Requirements:</div><ul><li>
Extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling and maneuvering around store, hang/fold merchandise, ladder climbing, operate POS registers and other company mobile devices, occasionally operate trash compactor (where applicable), occasionally use a hand truck, lift and carry up to 30lbs, and ability to joint/team lift.</li></ul><div></div><div><i><br>

Overview :<br>
</b><br>
<div>Contributes to omnichannel writing, editing, and strategic support. This includes assisting with catalog, email, web, paid media, organic social, and various other projects and workstreams. Participates in all creative reviews and works with cross-functional partners in marketing, merch, and design as needed.</div><b><br>
Responsibilities :
</b><br>
<ul><li>Learns and adheres to the J.Jill Copy Style and Brand Voice in all writing assignments.</li><li>
Attends copy meetings and project kickoffs for assigned projects.</li><li>
Writes, edits and rewrites as directed on a variety of projects which could include emails, paid media banners, web product copy, organic social captions and in-art copy, SEO copy, etc.</li><li>
Maintains copy files as directed.</li><li>
Effectively organizes and prioritizes workload in a fast-paced environment while remaining nimble and accurate when last-minute changes occur.</li><li>
Inputs line edits as directed across omnichannel projects.</li><li>
Maintains high standards for writing and self-editing.</li><li>
Maintains a positive, can-do attitude under pressure.</li></ul><p></p><div><br>

Qualifications :

Associate or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in English, communications, journalism, fashion, marketing or related field.</li><li>
1-2+ years experience writing fashion/lifestyle copy in an in-house creative department or agency.</li><li>
Retail, digital and/or advertising experience a plus.</li><li>
