This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your craft in a vibrant, supportive setting.Duties<ul><li>Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure pristine outdoor spaces.</li><li>Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, edging, and general landscape care.</li><li>Assist with installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements.</li><li>Conduct lawn care activities like fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth.</li><li>Support tree care operations including trimming, pruning, and planting to maintain safety and aesthetic appeal.</li><li>Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs.</li><li>Use equipment such as excavators for site preparation or landscaping projects under supervision.</li><li>Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways for clients.</li><li>Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards.</li><li>Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools, machinery, and chemicals to ensure a secure work environment.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery and hand tools confidently.</li><li>Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.</li><li>Knowledge of landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and hardscape installation.</li><li>Familiarity with irrigation systems setup, troubleshooting, and repairs.</li><li>Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in diverse outdoor conditions.</li><li>Basic understanding of construction processes related to landscape projects such as retaining walls or pathways.</li><li>Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety standards.
