<div><div>School Psychologist Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Psychological DIS Counseling: Maintains counseling student caseload and provides DIS counseling based on students' IEP.</li>
<li>IEP &amp; 504 Plan Support: Develop and consult on individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans based on assessment data. Create evidence-based interventions and strategies.</li>
<li>Crisis Support &amp; Training: Provide crisis support during emergencies and offer training to school staff on mental health, behavior management, and instructional strategies.</li>
<li>Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress. Prepare detailed reports for IEP meetings, evaluations, and other necessary documentation.</li>
<li>Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings to review and plan student interventions.</li>
</ul>
School Psychologist Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Certification: Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state where services are delivered</li>
<li>Background Check: Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance).</li>
<li>TB Clearance</li>
<li>Eligibility to Work: Eligibility to work in the US</li>
<li>Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)</li>
<li>Prior experience working as a school psychologist</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish/English</li>
</ul>
</li></ul>School Psychologist Physical Demands:
<ul>
<li>Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.</li>
<li>Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.</li>
<li>Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.</li>
</ul>
