<div>Events &amp; Promotions Representative:

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Events &amp; Promotions Representative will be responsible for execution of all events and promotions held at JACK ThistleDown Racino.
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Prepares promotion areas for promotions and events.</li>
<li>Executes promotions, assisting patrons participating in promotions by helping them swipe into invitation programs, distributing gifts, and aiding with any task regarding a promotion.</li>
<li>Staff special event registration areas.</li>
<li>Ensures that promotions/event areas are stocked with necessary supplies, decorations and secures items at conclusion of promotion/event.</li>
<li>Ensures collateral material for promotions and events are displayed prior to and recovered at the conclusion of each project.</li>
<li>Ensures guests qualify for entry by swiping their card in CMP</li>
<li>Use Atrient and Power Kiosk to track players and verify qualification for promotions when applicable.</li>
<li>Ensures data is accurate and maintains integrity of data.</li>
<li>Promotes ClubJACK programs and card membership.</li>
<li>Verifies all funds or gift card values at the beginning and end of each shift.</li>
<li>Ensures accountability of all transactions through verification and documentation of exchanges.</li>
<li>Responsible for balancing and maintaining promotions bank (Gift Cards and cash)</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring that all prize-winner forms are completed properly and turned in for processing.</li>
<li>Tracks inventories and expenses for each assigned project.</li>
<li>Act as a role model and always present oneself as a credit to JACK Thistledown and JACK Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.</li>
<li>Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by department.</li>
<li>Inventory promotional merchandise on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis as requested or required, updating Marketing Manager.</li>
<li>Maintain records, charts, and graphs of promotions on a monthly basis.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities
<ul>
<li>Must have excel and Microsoft office knowledge at an above proficient level</li>
<li>Must be able to work independently.</li>
<li>Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).</li>
<li>Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.</li>
<li>Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.</li>
<li>Respond to visual and aural cues.</li>
<li>Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.</li>
<li>Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.</li>
<li>Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.</li>
<li>Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.</li>
<li>Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.</li>
<li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.</li>
<li>Must be able to deal with guests in a casino environment.</li>
<li>Must have previous experience in the hospitality, retail or casino industry.</li>
<li>Must be able to get along with co-workers as a team.</li>
<li>Must present a well-groomed appearance.</li>
<li>Must have excel and Microsoft office knowledge at an above proficient level</li>
<li>Must be 21 years of age</li>
</ul>
Required Certification/License
<ul>
<li>Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission license</li>
