Responsible for the setup, maintenance and operation of the bar. Takes drink orders from patrons or wait staff and prepares and serves alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes. Mixes ingredients for cocktails, serves wine and bottled beer. Collects payments and makes change.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Setup bar with starting inventory.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar.</li><li>Receive drink orders from patrons and wait staff.</li><li>Mixes and serves alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.</li><li>Responsible for securing payments for drinks</li><li>Responsible for balancing your register at the end of your shift.</li><li>Responsible for checking and returning inventory and supplies to stock.</li></ul>QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Certified.</li><li>Must have basic knowledge or beer, wine, and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes.</li></ul>Skills and Abilities<ul><li>Knowledge of: Standard drink recipes.</li><li>Skill in: Math and Customer Service.</li><li>Ability to: Stand for extended periods of time</li></ul>Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Up to 10 minutes at a time. Daily carrying up to 25 lbs. up to 10 minutes at a time.</li><li>Climbing ladders and staircases multiple times per day as needed to pick stock.</li><li>Constant standing, walking, stooping.
