WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A SCHOOL LIBRARIAN</b></h3><p>
To excel as a Part-Time School Librarian at James Island Christian School, a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher is essential, along with certification by the state of South Carolina or the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), or eligibility for such certification. Strong organizational skills are crucial for selecting and maintaining an appropriate library collection that aligns with curriculum standards and supports students' literacy and critical thinking. Proficiency in library management software and educational technology tools will enhance your ability to deliver engaging instruction and develop effective lesson plans. Excellent communication skills are necessary for fostering relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a collaborative and supportive educational environment.</p><p>
