Job Description &ndash; Purchase ExecutivePosition: Purchase Executive Reporting To: Regional Head Department: Procurement / PurchaseRole Overview:The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services essential for the company&rsquo;s operations. The role requires maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring timely supply of quality goods, managing inventory levels, and supporting cost optimization initiatives.Key Responsibilities:1. Vendor &amp; Supplier Management<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.</li><li>Build and maintain long-term, trustworthy relationships with suppliers.</li><li>Monitor and assess supplier performance on a regular basis.</li></ul>2. Purchasing &amp; Procurement<ul><li>Process and manage purchase orders in line with company requirements.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to secure favorable conditions.</li><li>Conduct market research to identify competitive pricing and new sourcing opportunities.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of goods as per purchase agreements.</li></ul>3. Inventory &amp; Warehouse Coordination<ul><li>Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling.</li><li>Verify and review incoming shipments against purchase orders.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records to avoid shortages or overstocking.</li></ul>4. Quality &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure purchased materials meet company quality standards.</li><li>Resolve discrepancies, damages, or issues with supplier deliveries.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.</li></ul>5. Reporting &amp; Analysis<ul><li>Maintain and update purchase records, supplier details, and pricing data.</li><li>Prepare regular reports on purchases, costs, and supplier performance.</li><li>Support management in identifying cost-saving opportunities.</li></ul>6. Collaboration &amp; Communication<ul><li>Work closely with internal departments to understand and fulfill material requirements.</li><li>Liaise with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth product flow.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in procurement/purchase operations (preferably in pharma/healthcare sector).</li><li>Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.</li><li>Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.</li><li>Attention to detail, organizational ability, and problem-solving mindset.</li></ul>Employment Type:Full-TimeLocation: Bandra MumbaiJob Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;30,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Healthcare: 5 years (Required)</li><li>Purchasing: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
