 This internship is for students entering their senior year of undergraduate study who are on track to graduate in Spring 2027. The internship will be full-time through the summer and part-time through the school year.
 The Benefits and Total Rewards Intern is an excellent opportunity for aspiring HR talent. This position is a combination of impactful project work in addition to learning and executing routine operational tasks. The Benefits and Total Rewards Intern will work in an award-winning HR team and report directly to the Senior Benefits Manager.

<li>Curiosity: Wants to expand their baseline benefits understanding.</li>
</ul>
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the Benefits department by learning and understanding Janney’s full suite of benefits.</li>
<li>Ability to field employee in-bound questions on benefits and workflows.</li>
<li>Assist in creating and maintaining employee records in Dayforce HCMS.</li>
<li>Support with onboarding documentation and conduct follow-ups to meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Support key projects integral to the Benefits/Total Rewards function.</li>
<li>Partner with Benefits team members on cross-functional projects, including data audits and invoice tracking.</li>
<li>Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.</li>
</ul>
What you have: 
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college/university actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Human Resources Management major preferred but not required)</li>
<li>Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism</li>
<li>Self motivated, eager to learn, and able to take initiative when completing tasks</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete work accurately and on time</li>
<li>Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Professional, reliable, and committed to supporting the HR team</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint</li>
<li>Experience with HR systems (e.g., Dayforce HCM) preferred but not required</li>
</ul>
