Registered Nurse - SUD

<div>Description:
<p>
 The Development Associate plays a vital support role within the Development team. This position assists in the implementation of marketing and communication efforts that enhance donor engagement, support fundraising initiatives, and increase the organization&rsquo;s visibility. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and cross-departmental teams, the Coordinator helps develop and share compelling content across digital, print, and media channels.</p><p>
Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
Assist in implementing marketing and communications plans aligned with fundraising and development goals.</li><li>
Coordinate with the CDO to ensure messaging supports campaign priorities, donor engagement strategies, and organizational objectives.</li><li>
Maintain and help execute an annual communications calendar, including email campaigns, newsletters, appeals, and special events.</li><li>
Draft and edit donor-focused content such as impact stories, newsletters, donor reports, case statements, and event materials.</li><li>
Support the creation of consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels.</li><li>
Manage day-to-day digital communications, including updates to the website, social media scheduling, and email marketing.</li><li>
Assist with the production and distribution of print materials such as brochures, annual reports, and direct mail pieces.</li><li>
Track performance of digital communications and prepare analytics reports to help improve engagement.</li><li>
Provide support for media relations, including drafting press releases and coordinating with media outlets as needed.</li><li>
Assist in the promotion of fundraising events and campaigns in partnership with the Development team.</li><li>
Collect impact stories, data, and testimonials from program teams to be used in donor communications.</li><li>
Help prepare presentation materials and talking points for the CDO and CEO.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>One to three plus years of experience in nonprofit development, communications, or marketing preferred.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.</li><li>
Experience creating content for multiple platforms, including email, social media, websites, and print materials.</li><li>
Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as email marketing platforms</li><li>
Understanding of brand management and donor-centric messaging.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to evaluate communication effectiveness.</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.</li><li>
A proactive, positive, and adaptable attitude, with a passion for nonprofit work and mission-driven storytelling.</li></ul></div>
