Job Summary:Jascon Engineering W.L.L is seeking a qualified and proactive SHES Officer to join our team for ongoing projects in the Oil &amp; Gas sector at Ras Laffan. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Preference will be given to candidates with prior Ras Laffan project experience.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.</li><li>Organize and lead HSE training programs for employees and contractors.</li><li>Monitor workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure safety standards are met.</li><li>Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of HSE performance and prepare detailed reports for management.</li><li>Foster a proactive safety culture through engagement and communication with stakeholders.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certifications required.</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the Oil &amp; Gas industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.</li><li>Preference will be given to candidates with prior Ras Laffan project experience.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li>Risk Management</li><li>Incident Investigation</li><li>Regulatory Compliance</li><li>Training and Development</li><li>Problem-Solving Skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Civil Construction Sector: 7 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English, Urdu, Hindi (Preferred)</li></ul>
