<div><div><b>POSITION SUMMARY:</b></div><div>
Assists the Office Manager as directed in the routine office functions. Business</div><div>
Office Manager as directed in the routine office functions. Prepares the medical record</div><div>
for medical support staff and physicians. Primary responsibility is answering the</div><div>
telephone, routing all calls to the appropriate staff, and scheduling appointments.</div><div>
Assists or responsible for the daily posting of all revenue, receipts, and adjustments.</div><div>
Assists or responsible for balancing the drawer and completing all deposits. Provides a</div><div>
variety of administrative support services, including clerical/technical duties as directed</div><div>
by the practice administrator.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div><div>
Education: Graduate of High School.</div><div>
Experience: As least one years&rsquo; experience as a Medical Office Front Desk / Office Assistant</div><div>
required. Experience with automated systems required. Typing and computer</div><div>
experience required.</div><div>
Skills: Positive interpersonal communication skills. Must demonstrate proficiency in</div><div>
general office duties. Have basic accounting knowledge of accounts receivable</div><div>
programs.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CONDITIONS:</b></div><div>
Requires full range of motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye/hand</div><div>
coordination. Requires corrected vision to acceptable range. Requires communication</div><div>
ability (speak, read, comprehend and write) and hearing to acceptable range. Requires</div><div>
standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending and stooping. Must be able to lift, carry and</div><div>
push up to 25 pounds using proper body mechanics. Able to adapt priorities and</div><div>
assignments to frequent interruptions. Includes calculation of adult and/or pediatric</div><div>
dosages and the interpretation of lab values and other diagnostic tests.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:</b></div><div>
Has frequent exposure to infectious diseases. Has the potential of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. May come in contact with various fumes, odors, and toxic</div><div>
waste. No temperature extremes are evident. Work setting is frequently fast paced,</div><div>
occasionally variably paced.</div></div>
