Javitch Block LLC (JB) is now hiring for full-time Case Management Specialist in our Cleveland, Ohio office who will be responsible for receiving and processing mail, faxes and emails from consumers, consumer&rsquo;s attorneys or debt settlement companies, third parties and the courts.Essential Duties:<ul><li>Determines if mail should be routed to a collector or an attorney.</li><li>Summarizes contents of mail into case management system</li><li>Prioritize mail based on deadlines</li><li>Assign files to attorneys based on file type, client requirements and jurisdiction.</li><li>Coordinates appropriate follow up reviews for attorneys</li><li>Adds and updates the docket of court appearances</li><li>Handle incoming faxes and emails and directs to the proper personnel</li><li>Contact courts when necessary to obtain information</li><li>Processes document requests to courts to obtain copies of pleadings.</li><li>Answer court call phone line.</li><li>Back up for front desk receptionist as needed</li></ul>Education/Training/Experience<ul><li>High School Diploma required</li><li>Law firm or legal assistant experience preferred</li><li>Notary preferred but can be obtained post-employment</li></ul>Javitch Block offers a comprehensive benefits program including health insurance, paid vacation/personal time, 401(k) profit sharing, life insurance, and short and long-term disability.You can learn more about Javitch Block LLC at www.jbllc.comJB is a Cleveland-based law firm with additional offices in Fairlawn, Ohio; Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.
