We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, self motivated and proactive Procurement Engineer to manage and support our Procurement and Logistics team... Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials, especially PU-related chemicals and components.</li><li>Coordinate with R&amp;D, production, and quality teams to understand material specifications and requirements.</li><li>Float RFQs, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Raise purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of goods.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance &ndash; cost, quality, delivery.</li><li>Maintain inventory levels in coordination with stores and production planning.</li><li>Ensure compliance with procurement policies, GST, and statutory documentation.</li><li>Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and develop alternate sources.</li><li>Handle imports (if applicable) including coordination with logistics and customs.</li><li>Track market trends and price fluctuations of raw materials (especially PU chemicals).</li></ul>Required Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.</li><li>1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a PU/chemical/manufacturing company.</li><li>Strong knowledge of PU raw materials (MDI, TDI, polyol, additives, etc.).</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar).</li><li>Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.</li><li>Understanding of logistics, taxes, and compliance in procurement.</li></ul>&#10133; Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Experience in managing both local and imported PU chemical vendors.</li><li>Knowledge of ISO/quality systems and safety norms in chemical handling.</li><li>must be efficient to speak in English and Hindi.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: &#8377;18,000.00 - &#8377;22,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Procurement management: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Preferred)</li><li>Hindi (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Peramangalam, Thrissur, Kerala (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>50% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
