This role is essential for ensuring accurate billing, compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and efficient customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy billing systems and a commitment to maintaining operational integrity.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Accurately generate and process invoices for prescription and over-the-counter medications using authorized billing software.</li><li>Verify prescriptions to ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, particularly for controlled substances.</li><li>Cross-check medication details, including batch number, expiry date, and quantity prior to billing.</li><li>Manage transactions using multiple payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, digital wallets) with accountability and accuracy.</li><li>Apply GST correctly and ensure adherence to all tax compliance requirements.</li><li>Maintain organized records of daily transactions, invoices, and payment summaries.</li><li>Reconcile billing and payment data at the end of each day; report and resolve any discrepancies.</li><li>Coordinate with inventory and pharmacy teams to confirm stock availability and resolve billing-related issues.</li><li>Provide a courteous and professional customer experience at the billing counter.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce, Science, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.</li><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience in billing within a pharmacy or healthcare environment is preferred.</li><li>Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and a willingness to learn may also apply.</li><li>Proficiency in billing systems, POS software, and basic financial/accounting processes.</li><li>Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, drug classifications, and prescription standards.</li><li>Understanding of GST and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Work Schedule &amp; Compensation:<ul><li>Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM (including rotational weekly offs or as assigned)</li><li>Structured work environment with opportunities for skill development and career growth.</li></ul>Why Join Zenni Pharmaceutical Ltd.?Zenni Pharmaceutical Ltd. is committed to excellence in healthcare, emphasizing customer satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.
