 JOB PURPOSE
 
 
 <ul>

 Assist the Sr. Financial Analyst and the Income auditor to manage all aspects of the resort accounting operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the management, coordination and accurate maintenance of all financial data.
 </li>
 <li>
 As a member of the Business Finance department, is responsible for ensuring that all financial affairs of the property are conducted to the highest standards of honesty and integrity. High ethical standards are necessary to maintain both competitive advantage and the pride and confidence of our colleagues, and to provide quality products and services to guests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the disbursement and handling of petty cash fund, counting and depositing daily cash receipts to the bank, verification of cash funds and preparation of consolidated cash and bank deposits, reporting of over and short, accounting and monitoring the foreign exchange movement and updating the Resort foreign exchange rate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ambassador of the company&rsquo;s wellness and sustainability culture, promote its awareness amongst team members by leading by example and living a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

 GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 Ensure all finance activities are carried out honestly, ethically and according to parameters of local laws.

 KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 <ul>

 Daily banking involving the collection of banking envelopes from safes, and the opening, counting and balancing as a whole.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect all cash envelopes dropped by the operation team in the designated safe with a witness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure witness is not repetitive, verify the cash drop log and ensure all aspects are in compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Count physical cash in the presence of a witness, and sign the sheets as per policy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify cash collected against cash drop data available in the logbook, and ensure there is no variance.
 </li>
 <li>
 In case of any variances, immediately report to the immediate leader.
 </li>
 <li>
 Seek explanation for variances and seek assistance from security when needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare general cashier summary report outlining cash collection and submit to income auditor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Process petty cash as required and reconcile daily/weekly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare over and under, balance monthly and present to Financial Analyst.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare weekly petty cash summary for reimbursement to float.
 </li>
 <li>
 Issue house bank contracts as required and prepare bank accounts summary on a monthly basis.

 Process due backs daily, small bills required for operations.
 </li>

 Monitor the property&rsquo;s exchange rate and adjust accordingly.
 </li>

 Perform payroll processing and months end closing of payroll with the support of Sr. Financial Analyst.

 Ensure overtime claims are supported by proper approval and authorisation.
 </li>

 Prepare monthly/yearly payroll analysis report.
 </li>

 Prepare all other payments and submissions to local authority on the specific timing.
 </li>

 Address internal and external auditors&rsquo; queries and keep records ready for review at all times.

 Conduct before and post stay (online) consultations with guests when required.

 Qualifications:
