<p>
We are seeking a <b><i>Resident Assistant.</i></b> The Resident Assistant provides personal care and related services to residents according to individualized service and care plans. Works under the direction of the Healthcare Coordinator. Certification as a Nurse&rsquo;s Aide is preferred but not required.</p>
<p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Obtain and record vital signs; report deviations to supervising nurse per Individual Service Plan (ISP).</li>
<li>Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, nutrition, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and medication reminders.</li>
<li>Follow ISPs and daily task sheets; communicate resident status changes to supervisors.</li>
<li>Utilize standard precautions and infection control procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain safe and clean resident environments; document resident progress in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Encourage resident engagement in activities.</li>
<li>Uphold HIPAA confidentiality and adhere to all community policies.</li>
<li>Attend biweekly in-service meetings and mandatory trainings.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications and Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).</li>
<li>Minimum six months caregiving experience, preferably with elderly residents.</li>
<li>Completion of required medication management course.</li>
<li>CPR certification within 90 days of hire.</li>
<li>Professionalism and ability to handle emotionally charged situations.</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.</li>
